China Power Situation

Dear Friends,

Power Rationing is now underway in China, with production capabilities down by 40%!
Factories in at least ten Chinese provinces have either cut output or closed temporarily this month, after government-imposed power cuts to curb carbon emissions.

The flow of cargo into the origin terminals will quickly eliminate any backlog of freight now sitting waiting for space.

  • The lack of empty equipment should also be resolved over a shorter period.
  • Destination ports, ramps, terminals should start to clear up as well.

We will keep you updated as we learn  how this will change rates, space and equipment going forward.

If you have any questions, please contact your OL USA Account Manager for more information.

Thank you.
